Spudbug's terms of service
Before I get started working on your commission, I want to ensure that you and I are on the same page and that you understand my terms of service.
If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact me through discord at the.spudbug or email [email protected]. By commissioning me, you agree to have read and fully agreed to my terms of service, and acknowledge as such.
General guidelines:
Prices shown are for personal use only, commercial prices are quoted separately.
I retain all the rights to my work, which include but are not limited to; the right to distribute, reproduce, copy and/or use the image as a sample for sales or self-promotion.
I do NOT authorize using any of my pieces as an NFT. Furthermore, I do NOT authorize using any of my pieces to feed any AI generator or use in an AI generator in any way.
Any ill behavior will not be tolerated. I reserve the right to refuse any commission.
The commissioner reserves the right to:
Claiming rights to the character, but not the drawing itself.
Sharing/Re-posting the artwork any place they see fit, with proper credit.
Printing the artwork for personal use only.
Commission Guidelines
When you send your inquiry message/email I need you to include the following:
Which character art option you choose [bust, half-body, full-body.]
How many characters there will be.
Reference images of your character(s).
Whether or not you want a background and what complexity, I will let you know if something is out of my comfort zone.
In the case where you have any size, resolution and/or color mode requirements, please inform me as soon as possible. If I already created the file and worked on it, I might not be able to change it.
Revisions
you have 5 free revisions during the sketching step and 1 free revision per following step [coloring, line-art, and final touches].
Additional revisions after the steps stated previously, you will be charged 5-20% of base price, depending on complexity of the revision.
If you wish to change a part of the piece you have previously approved, I will charge you an extra fee.
What I will and will not draw:
Humans
Anthros
Original characters
Fan characters
Robotic parts
Minor Injury
Suggestive content*
Pure mecha
Hateful content
Imitation of any art style or artist
Anything I feel personally uncomfortable drawing
*My skills with drawing suggestive/nsfw art are not as refined as my skills for drawing sfw work.
Payment and work process
I accept payment through ko-fi or cashapp.
Payments can be either:
50% before I start your commission and 50% before I send the completed image.
OR 50% before I start your commission and 50% while I’m working on the image.
OR 100% before I start working on your commission.
I will ONLY start working on your commission beyond a sketch after receiving full or the first-rate of the agreed payment.
Refunds and Cancelling:
No refunds [once the commission is paid for, the money cannot be returned].
After 3 days of an unpaid commission after receiving your final sketch, your slot will be forfeited if another person pays in due time.
if I am for whatever reason unable to complete your commission i will refund you 100%.
Work process and what's expected:
Upon receiving the details of the commission I will produce a sketch [or sketches depending on what ideas I come up with based off of your information], once given the confirmation and payment I will start work on your piece and will give you updates on the process.
My process roughly goes: Sketch -> Base coloring -> Line-art -> Shading -> Final touches. HOWEVER I may have variations in how I do your commission, I assure you the quality will still be satisfactory however I go about creating your commission.
